2. Payment of Verification Services
| (a) | (Scantek, we, us) Within the framework of our Verification Services Terms & Conditions, Scantek, a technology company, extends identity verification products and services to its customers. |
| (b) | The Business that you have engaged to provide business services to you (business) has requested that you pay for the Verification Services that we provide to them, and which are required to complete the services. |
| (c) | You agree to be bound by these terms and conditions (Terms). |
| (a) | As outlined in our comprehensive Verification Services Terms & Conditions, if directed to do so, you are obligated to remit payment for the Verification Services. This entails furnishing our online payments provider with pertinent details regarding your card, bank account, or alternative payment method. To facilitate this transaction, you will be redirected to the payments platform, and charges will only be incurred upon the submission of transaction information. |
| (b)Scantek Solutions Pty Ltd does not store or have access to your payment information and this will be handled separately by our online payments provider in accordance with their policies and terms and conditions. |
3. Transaction errors
| (a) | You will be guided through the Transaction and your payment will only be processed after you have submitted all your required identity details. It is essential that all instructions in relation to the Verification Services are completed accurately. |
| (b) | If the Transaction fails to be processed successfully due to your error, you agree that you will be required to re-submit information for the Transaction and we will charge you another transaction fee to re-process the Transaction as a result of your error. |
4. Nature of relationship
| (a) | You acknowledge that we provide the Verification Services to the Business under a separate agreement between the Business and Scantek and your business will receive your Transaction Result. |
| (b) | Scantek is not providing the Verification Services to you and is only facilitating payment of the Verification Services by you on behalf of the Business in accordance with the instructions from the Business. |
5. GST
| Unless stated otherwise, all fees payable by you are inclusive of GST. |
6. General
| (a) | Dispute resolution. In the event of any dispute under these Terms, the parties agree to negotiate in good faith to resolve the dispute. |
| (b) | Severability. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Terms will not affect the rest of the provisions in these Terms, which will continue in full force and effect. |
| (c) | Invalid or unenforceable provisions. Invalid terms are replaced by valid ones if determined by applicable law. The rest of the terms will remain in effect. |
| (d) | No waiver. A provision of these Terms will not be taken to be waived except by written notice signed by us or you. |
| (e) | Governing law and jurisdiction. The laws of Western Australia must be applied in construing these terms regardless of where it is executed or where the Verification Services are provided, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of Western Australia |
7. Definitions
| 1. | Business has the meaning given in clause 1(b). |
| 2. | Trasaction means a request for Verification Services and/or delivery of Verification Services. |
| 3. | Transaction Result means the result of a Transaction provided by Scantek to the Business. |
| 4. | Verification Services means the verification services provided by Scantek to the Business. |
